Gina K Customer Blog Hop #2

What a great way to showcase different ways to use the Gina K sets.  I chose Lovely Shelf as my stamp set to use.  I love this set.  I used it below in softer colors- this time I decided to pull out Melon Mambo and offset it with black to give it a brighter look.  Please make sure you go to Gina's blog to check out Mr. Linky for all of the links to creativity!  Check back often- links will be added all the way up through Monday night!

I have several pics tonight but all of them use the same recipe so I will include that at the bottom.  My aunt usually gets a set of cards from me as one of her gifts.  Normally it's a conglomeration of everything I have made but this year I decided to use Nina's Lovely Shelf set as the image and sentiment in my cards.

brief hiatus

Hey all- as you can tell I am taking a brief hiatus. School was crazy this past week and there were a few other things going on. I'm leaving Tuesday for IN for the holidays. I am hoping to make a few things tonight that I can post while I am away but we shall see. If not, I'll be back in the New Year! I have taken a brief step down from the Sunshine Stamps DT. LOVE the images but needed to step away for a month or so. I'm hoping that I will be able to rejoin in a couple of months if the timing works out.

A Pizza Box for a Gift

I don't have a new Sunshine project (but I will have a special one later this week for you!).  My mojo took a vacation this weekend and I am currently taking a 15 minute break from school work to type up this post for you.  With Christmas coming and lots of little gifts that are needed, for everyone from postal workers to teachers to bus drivers to hostess gifts to.... (I think you get the idea) I thought it would be fun to look back at this pizza box I made.  It would be perfect to whip up and fill with some candy to give to someone.  You can use a Christmas image from the Sunshine Stamps store or you can use one that fits the person you are giving the gift to (for example, Barney Bus to a bus driver or a teacher).  You can find the tutorial for this pizza box over at SCS.

Recipe:
Stamps- Patrick Police Car (Sunshine Stamps), TAC
Ink- copic markers, prismacolor markers, black
Paper- Basic Black, Real Red, white
Accessories- stardust pens, scallop punches, circle punches

Some Cocoa Love

and a sketch.  Sunshine Stamps is sponsoring Day 12 of the 24 Days of Christmas over at Show and Tell Cards and Scrap Pages (the link goes to the actual challenge).  Sunshine created the sketch and asked us to use a current Christmas image to spotlight.  I chose the Cocoa Love mug and matching sentiment.  This also is another entry for the Color Throwdown to use Riding Hood Red, Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky, and Wild Wasabi.  I love this Eskimo Kisses paper and have 3 packs here at home and one more on the way :).

Just look for the blinkie at each blog you visit.

My card uses the brand new Devoted stamps from the {ippity} line. It's also for the LimeLIGHT sketch and product challenge . It also meets the criteria for the Color Throwdown. And, finally it's also for the {ippity} challenge to add some "snow" to your card. You may be asking where you can find your {ippity} stamps- I get mine from JenMarie

Merry Christmas Poinsettia

I am using the poinsettia image from Sunshine Stamps for another challenge card.  This one is for the Just Us Girls (JUGS10) challenge which is a sketch challenge.  I really like these challenges but unfortunately my schedule has not been conducive to playing as often as I have wanted.  However, a sketch challenge I can do!

Recipe:
Stamps- Sunshine Stamps
Ink- black, copic markers
Paper- Garden Green, Real Red, white, garden green dsp
Accessories, pearls, ribbon, punches, dimensionals

I decided to not use a sentiment because I wanted to have the option to use this for a Christmas card or a Christmas Thank You card.

You can get this poinsettia and other fun digi images HERE at SUNSHINE STAMPS
